Angelica Ponguta
Associate Research Scientist in the Yale Child Study Center

Angelica Ponguta is Associate Research Scientist in the Yale Child Study Center and 2016­-2018 Jacobs Foundation Research Fellow. She has led and participated in ECD policy-making and policy analysis projects in over 10 countries in Africa, Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Angelica Ponguta is currently working on the development of measures to characterize the quality of ECD service provision in Colombia and on an analysis of governance of early childhood education systems in four CEE/CIS countries. Together with colleagues at Aga Khan University, Harvard, and Yale she is co-developing and evaluating an innovative youth-led ECD program in rural Pakistan. She also coordinates a randomized controlled trial evaluating a parenting program implemented in Palestinian refugee camps and marginalized communities in Beirut.
