Caroline Smrstik Gentner is a US-educated, European-based writer. She holds a Masters in Communications and Journalism from Stanford University, and was a political and economic correspondent for the German wire service dpa and the Economist Intelligence Unit in central and eastern Europe. As a communications professional, she has worked in financial services and the pharmaceutical industry. She is a mother and passionate about educational policy and teaching kids to think.
