Gaia Scerif is a Professor of Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Oxford. Her research interests lie at the interface of neuroscience, developmental psychology and the experimental social sciences. In particular, she studies the genetic influences on and malleability of attentional processes, to understand their impact on cognitive and brain development. She complements these activities with a strong interest in mentoring researchers within and outside her research group, including a focus on women in science.
