Oliver J. Kaftan is a PhD candidate at the chair for Developmental Psychology: Adulthood at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. His research focuses on the role of goal focus (i.e., the cognitive representation of goals primarily in terms of the process or the outcome of goal pursuit) in the context of procrastination. He is also a PhD fellow in the interdisciplinary International Max Planck Research School on the Life Course (LIFE).
