The research of Candice Odgers, Professor of Psychology and Social Behavior at University of California, Irvine, and Research Professor at Sanford School of Public Policy, Duke University, is driven by the observation that children’s life chances are determined in part by the postcode of the neighborhood they are born into. She is hoping to build tools that will help reduce the inequalities that are introduced by this postcode lottery and build stronger communities, implement better policy and change the trajectories of children’s lives.
