Ayla Pollmann

PhD student, King's College London

Ayla is a PhD student in the field of developmental psychology at King’s College London. She holds two master’s degrees from the University of Groningen and is particularly interested in youth studies and mental health. During her PhD studies, she is focusing on adverse childhood and adolescence experiences (ACEs/AAEs) and their impact on mental health and brain development. Her research capitalizes on recent advances in statistical methodologies and large developmental samples. Ayla aims to take an active role in science communication.
