Claudia Finger is a research fellow in the Research Unit on Skill Formation and Labor Markets at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center, Germany, and a post-doctoral fellow at the College for Interdisciplinary Educational Research (CIDER). Her research focuses on gender and social inequality in the transition to higher education. She also explores the role of institutional admission barriers in socially selective intakes as well as inequalities in higher education, for example in fields of study and international student mobility.
