Dror Dotan, a former software development expert, is a lecturer in the School of Education and School of Neuroscience at Tel Aviv University, Israel. He heads the Mathematical Thinking Lab where, with his team, he examines the cognitive mechanisms underlying mathematical thinking and programming skills, investigates math-related learning disorders (dyscalculia), and develops techniques for assessment and treatment of these disorders. On top of this research, he is interested in progressive education methods and in technological tools for personalized education. He is a Jacobs Research Fellow 2020-2022.
