Giuseppe Sorrenti is an economist at the Department of Economics and the Jacobs Center for Productive Youth Development at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. In January 2020, he will join the Amsterdam School of Economics (University of Amsterdam) as an assistant professor in microeconomics. His primary expertise is in child development and the human capital accumulation process. His research focuses particularly on the effects of early interventions in shaping children’s cognitive and non-cognitive development and in counteracting children’s poverty.
