Kaspar Burger is a senior research and teaching assistant at the Center for Children’s Rights Studies, University of Geneva, Switzerland. His broad research interests are in the areas of the sociology of education, developmental psychology, and policy studies. Much of his current work examines how individual educational trajectories are affected by characteristics of the child and the family, as well as by wider institutional and socio-political contexts.
