Korbinian Moeller holds a Diploma in Psychology from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and an MSc in Psychology from the University of Dundee, UK. He earned his PhD from Eberhard-Karls-University, Tübingen, Germany. He is interested in how physical actions and experiences like finger counting and whole-body movements influence children’s mathematical development. At the Leibniz-Institut für Wissensmedien, Tübingen, Germany, he designed game-based apps to foster numerical skills through interactive digital experiences. He joined Loughborough University in 2020 as Professor of Mathematical Cognition. His work integrates developmental psychology, cognitive science, and neuroscience to explore processes underlying mathematical learning that can inform innovative educational resources.
