Rachel Pugh is a medical journalist based in Manchester, UK, with a passion for health and social equality. She writes regularly for The Guardian and has also written for The Independent, the TES and The Telegraph as well as setting up a number of publications for the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) and for international health-related companies and charities. She is a Jacob’s Foundation Science Writer Fellow.
