Roberts Zivtins is a doctoral student at Imperial College London. His research interest is in science education and social inequality. His current project, which focusses on a school/university outreach partnership, seeks to determine how – if at all – outreach programmes can influence students’ levels of science capital. This work involves an in-depth study of Imperial College’s dedicated outreach space, the Wohl Reach Out Lab (WROL). Roberts previously worked in pesticide research and as a science teacher in Cambridge.
