Sierra Eisen is a doctoral candidate and an Institute for Education Sciences predoctoral fellow in the Psychology department of the University of Virginia. She is also a predoctoral fellow of the International Max Planck Research School on the Life Course (LIFE). Her research examines how young children learn from digital media and educational apps. Her dissertation focuses on adult-child interactions during digital and physical spatial play and links to children’s early spatial and math abilities.
