Thorben Jansen is a postdoctoral researcher and head of an interdisciplinary Junior Research Group investigating digital argumentation instruction in science at the Leibniz Institute for Science and Mathematics Education in Kiel, Germany. His research focuses on supporting students’ learning and motivation using artificial intelligence, individualized feedback, and digital learning environments. Additionally, he systematizes the meta-analytic literature to investigate factors related to students’ motivation, self-beliefs, and achievement.
