Wafa Johal

Wafa Johal is a postdoctoral researcher in human-robot interaction at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (EPFL). She earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer sciences as applied to cognitive sciences. She then obtained a master’s and PhD in computer sciences with a focus on human-robot interaction. Her research combines AI & robotics with the goal of taking advantage of the social abilities of robots for education and promoting the use of robots in learning.
