Brain development and sensitive periods for learning in adolescence

Sarah-Jayne Blakemore, professor of cognitive neuroscience at University College London, has found in her research that the adolescent brain undergoes substantial development and that adolescence contains windows of opportunity for learning. She is the 2015 Klaus J. Jacobs Research Prize recipient.
