Jessica Carolyn Bühler is a third-year PhD candidate in the Department of Developmental Psychology: Infancy and Childhood at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Her research focuses on the neural and behavioral correlates of linguistic mismatch and their impact on reading and spelling acquisition in preschool- and school-aged children who are native speakers of Swiss German dialect. She is also a PhD fellow in the interdisciplinary international Max Planck Research School LIFE as well as in the ZNZ (Neuroscience Center Zurich) PhD program.
