Valentin Benzing

Valentin Benzing is a researcher at the Institute of Sport Science of the University of Bern, Switzerland. He is currently focusing on the relationship between physical activity/exercise and cognition, where he is investigating how physical exercise can contribute to better mental health and which specific physical activity characteristics are crucial to achieving this. In different research projects, he works with healthy schoolchildren as well as with clinical patients, such as children with ADHD and childhood cancer survivors. He is also a PhD fellow at the Center for Cognition, Learning and Memory (CCLM) and at the International Doctoral Program of Interdisciplinary Sport Science (Bern, Tübingen).
