Frances Hoferichter

Frances Hoferichter is an interim professor of school pedagogy in the Department of Educational Science at the University of Greifswald, Germany and a fellow at the College for Interdisciplinary Educational Research (CIDER). She earned her PhD in psychology at the Free University of Berlin. Her work looks at how individual (e.g., personality) as well as contextual factors (e.g., social relationships) affect learning and well-being. She focuses particularly on stress, test anxiety, and achievement motivation, taking a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary perspective, with the goal of helping students to become more resilient.
