Researcher on learning and development in children
Jessica Carolyn Bühler received her PhD in 2017 at the Department of Developmental Psychology: Infancy & Childhood of the University of Zurich. Since 2013, her research has been focusing on how dialect-based language processing is characterized at the brain level, and how speaking a dialect affects learning to read and write in school.
From January to July 2018 she worked as Program Manager Research (maternity cover) at the Jacobs Foundation. In future, she intends to return to conducting research on learning and development in children.
