Kate Humphreys is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology and Human Development at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where she leads the Stress and Early Adversity Laboratory. She is also a member of the Vanderbilt Brain Institute, an Investigator at the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center, and has a faculty appointment in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Vanderbilt. Humphreys and her team examine early caregiving experiences and their influence on later life outcomes. Kate Humphreys is a Jacobs Foundation Research Fellow 2018-2020.
