Susanne Kuger is a senior researcher at the German Institute for International Educational Research (DIPF) in Frankfurt/Main, Germany. Her work concentrates on contexts of learning from early childhood to adolescence. This involves research on the conditions of learning in general and in specific subgroups of children (e.g. gifted children, disadvantaged children), as well as on questions of educational effectiveness in child care settings, school and families. Her methodological interests are international comparison studies and the advancement of survey methodology.
